It is an overwhelming victory for the team as they received key industry awards namely; ‘Head Barista of the Year’, ‘Restaurant Manager of the Year’ and the coveted ‘Restaurateur of the Year’. The glittering awards night which took place yesterday at the JW Marriot Marquis, revealed the best of the best in the food and beverage industry from the Middle East. Homegrown hospitality company, Bull & Roo, walked away as the only group to take home multiple awards.

Tom Arnel’s passion in the creation of homegrown specialty cafes and restaurants, where there has long been a gap in the GCC region, has been duly recognized as he was bestowed the ‘Restaurateur of the Year’ award. Arnel commented, “I wish to thank all the judges who are involved in the Caterer Middle East awards and a huge congratulations to all the other winners and nominees as well. It is wonderful to see that the Dubai restaurant scene is in great shape.”

Matt Connell and Jamie Elfman received the ‘Restaurant Manager of the Year’ and Head Barista of the Year’, awards respectively.
